The work that was done was very good and the plumber was very professional, but get a quote before having work done. I asked for someone to clear out two drains, replace a kitchen faucet, replace a bathtub drain, and adjust the trap to a shower so sewer gases weren't leaking. The work took less than 4 hours and I was originally charged $1109; when I queried the bill, I was told that they had moved from an hourly rate to a per item rate - no one told me when I booked the visit. I was given a 10% discount, but the visit cost me approximately $250 per hour.Since I posted this review two weeks ago, High Point's office staff have worked hard to identify why the initial bill was so high and to remedy the problem. I am much happier now about my bill, which is now in the $600 range. High Point's customer service in this instance has been very good and much appreciated.
