The front was nice and accommodating. He originally gave us very dark small room under the stairs, almost looks like storage room. Is it because we booked it through Expedia??? Anyways, he gave us a better room after we completed. We thought the room was clean till we pulled down the sheets. One of the two beds was covered with pubic hairs. We were too tired to complain, so we slept in a cleaner bed.We have started in different Travelodge before. This isn't the cheapest but the worst one.
Pictures sure make this place seem newer than it is. Pretty dated, needs a good clean. Bed was relatively good as well as our ac unit. Tv was staticky and old. Just go into it expecting the worst, and youll feel fine about it. Also try and get a discount as its not worth all that money.
Nice little hotel for a weekend away in this beautiful town. Cozy, clean rooms. As many reviewers have mentioned it is cost effective. The beds are comfortable and the hotel is in a nice location if you want to stroll around the area. The kids were getting bored inside one rainy afternoon, so we took them to the movie theater across the street. Beautiful town and surrounding area!! Lots of lakes and scenic views.
For $140 we got a "suite" because it was all they had left. But let me tell you it wasn't so sweet. I'm writing this at 6 am with a sore neck and sore back because I can't sleep it is Not comfortable. The bedroom is like a mini sauna. A/C barely keeps the living room cool. The carpet in the bedroom was not vacuumed! The wifi is frustrating beyond belief! (Writing using my data) and to top it off I just had a shower and i am a bit confused does the H on the tap mean horribly cold???? We are leaving ASAP!
Filthy place, nothing works, woke up so(!!) itchy twice throughout the night on both days I was there.Dead bugs (spider, moth and woodbugs) on floor, ants in room, water tastes like its straight from a puddle (or algae-infested lake water... dont drink or brush your teeth with it). The place is filthy so I wouldn't be surprised if it had bed bugs, and my hypothesis is supported by the fact that I was horribly itchy after lying in the bed. My clothes are staying in a sealed garbage bag in my garage for 2 weeks just to be safe... The door stuck so much that you literally had to bodycheck it to get it to open. TV didnt work (stuck on one channel). TERRIBLE WiFi so I had to rely on my cell data almost the entire time, which was a major issue as I was travelling for business. This place is just awful. I'll never go back, even if it means spending double somewhere else. The only redeeming quality is that the lady at the front desk was very nice.
