Normally excellent. Great staff. Darlene and Michelle are awesome. Something wrong today. We had to leave before our dinner. There an hour and still no food. Hmm.
4 of us ate here last night. Service was OK, food was literally inedible. Schnitzel one couldn't chew? Really! Nearly cold mashed potatoes? Really? Probably the worst meal we have ever eaten in Cranbrook. Don't need to go back there ever!
This is Brads wife lol...my first experience with Don Cherrys Grill...I was totally disappointed!!..we ordered it to be delivered and were seriously overcharged!!!...I asked for 1 extra chicken strip in my order as I was sharing with another ....they charged me 6.99 and it did not come in the order. We asked for chicken strips and cherry chips so they sent us the full chicken strip meal with fries plus the cherry chips which was not what we wanted. There was a long black hair in the food and they charged us 3.75 for a can of pop!!...Three of us ordered lunch and it was 91.00!!!...The delivery charge was 5.00. I called to voice my concern and no offer to rectify anything!!!...the food was good but because of that I will never go back
Lotsa TV's and pleasant staff. Waitress had to ask if it was ok to turn on the volume of the Blue Jays game. I pointed out that this was a sports bar. If I wanted to listen to music instead, I would have chosen a club. Just odd to observe the culture was geared towards listening to music than to sports.
Stopped in yesterday for the first time in a couple months.. seemed unusually empty for Saturday around dinner time.. beer was good and cold !! Food was fresh and came out quick. The negative was slow service the servers spent more time talking than serving!!!!our server explained the happy hour specials as we paid??. Lots of choices to drive past to get to Don Cherry's. Should bring back the 2 for 1 appys on Saturday, the place was packed back then.
